Akin to previously-surfaced iterations, the forthcoming pair indulges in a mix of materials, with suede overpowering the upper. Instead of boasting a uniform look, however, the shoe’s top-half features paneling done in light tan, pink, blue and a “Vintage Wine”-like tone. Profile swooshes, just like lace guards, further deviate from the standard Nike Blazer Women via a segmented, multi-material construction that adds depth and character to the already-bold option.

Over the last 57 years, the North American sportswear conglomerate has also led the charge in marketing and design efforts, creating a lifestyle out of the Carolyn Davidson-created swoosh. As of recent, various pairs of
the Nike Blazer Men have nodded to the logo’s history, with the latest proposition featuring a black and off-white colorway complete with removable swooshes.

Shades of off-white cover most of the mixed-materials upper, with suede across the mid-foot boasting the darkest hue. Profile swooshes deviate from their surroundings in both hue and material, as they deliver “Armory Navy” tumbled leather to the once-basketball-court-staple. Orange joins the mix on the exposed foam tongue and suede “NIKE”-branded heel, while a Nike Blazer Cheap Sportswear swoosh wheel takes over the lateral heel. Directly underfoot, a “Glacier Ice” midsole injects modern flair to the 1970s Nike Blazer Sale, just as the outsole does.
